The Blue Room

Blue Room
The Blue Room has a wonderfully relaxed and calm feel and is decorated in soft blue and cream toile de jouy fabric. There is a magnificent view of the garden and miles of countryside beyond. You are about 650 feet above sea level here, high on the top of the rolling Cotswolds! Although technically in the eaves with lovely old exposed oak beams, the room is more than full height as it is vaulted in the high Cotswold pitch.
This room is arranged as a twin with very comfortable three foot Sleepeezee mattresses, each with an electric blanket, and lovely old oak bed frames. There is a dressing table, a chest of drawers, a hanging cupboard and a comfortable arm chair. The room is also provided with bottled water, a (non-ticking!) alarm clock, a radio, and a hairdryer. There is a tray for tea and coffee in the morning and a jug of fresh milk is delivered outside the room about one hour before breakfast.

The Blue Room Bathroom
The bathroom exclusive to this room is down a short flight of stairs and soft white towelling bathrobes are provided for you. Decorated in soft jade green, azure blue and crisp white, this has a bath, loo and basin. This bathroom is particularly comfortable and benefits from the evening sun and the warmth of the boiler room below.
The Blue Room is at the top of the house on the second floor, two floors up from the ground floor. The stairs are relatively steep but there is a handrail all the way up.
